Its Spring semester. Elections are occurring and the time to vote is Feb 28th so attend the Speak Outs if you haven’t already. They will provide with more information about the candidates and help you make an educated, informed decision. Learn about the candidates before you vote! There’s a SpeakOut tomorrow (Feb 13th) at 6pm in Rankin Chapel.

how do you like howard?and be honest i want the good and the bad! lol! it really in the ghetto? how do you like the night life and the people there? any advice you can give me? how about the dorms? which is really better The Quad or the Annex? and tell me about this Early Action. how does it work? what time did you put your app in and was it hard to get into? what should i ain for when it comes to the SAT and ACT? and is it hard to get scholarships? and oh im following you :)

Thanks for following me and sorry for replying so late. I’ve answered this question before and would suggest going to my archives. I can reblog it again if you’d like. I’m sorry if this doesn’t help but I’ve answered this question dozens of times already.

I hope I am not a bother by asking this question, but I was just wondering do you think I have a chance of getting into Howard with a 3.0 halfway through my junior year? I am taking a lot of AP and Honors classes this year and I plan to do so next year. I have wanted to go to Howard since the 8th grade, but I am scared that I won't be able to bring my G.P.A. up high enough to get accepted. Thank you in advance.

the deadline to apply is the 15th so if you haven’t applies already get to it! no you aren’t a bother and I feel like you have a good chance because it sounds like your classes have a high rigor and that matters. rock the essay out and resume if you can (or if you want to add that to your application). Good luck.

Hi, I just applied to HU for EA and I am really concerend about scholarships. Do you think they focus more on GPA or ACT scores because my ACT score sucks but my GPA is really high?

You have to have a good combination of both to receive it. Without the good enough scores abbr high enough gpa, you can’t receive one. I wrote about this earlier on my page.

They give you topics to choose from in the application or you can choose your own. Something that’s important to you and reflects something interesting about you. Experience? Sports? Just make sure you talk about how it relates to you rather than dragging on about it and leaving the reader wondering what the point was.
